Two Point Hospital เกมแนวบริหารจัดการสร้างโรพยาบาลที่มี Concept น่าสนใจ ไม่เหมือนเกมทั่วไป เพราะเน้นความตลกขบขำมากกว่าจะซีเรียสจริงจัง โรคที่พบในเกมจะเป็นโรคสมมติที่ไม่มีอยู่จริง เช่น Lightheadness (โรคหัวหลอดไฟ), โรค Pandemic (โรคหัวกระทะ!) และโรคอีกมากมายที่จะทำให้คุณอบยิ้มและหัวเราะเมื่อพบเจอ ไหนจะวิธีการรักษาที่ยียวนไม่แพ้กันอีก

การเล่นจะเน้นด้าน Management หรือการบริหารด้วย คุณต้องทำการสร้างตั้งแต่ Counter ประชาสัมพันธ์ ไปจนห้องของคุณหมอไว้ตรวจโรค ห้องพยาบาลไว้สำหรับ Admit คนไข้ ไปจนห้องเฉพาะทางอย่างห้องผ่าตัด สิ่งที่อัพเกรดขึ้นจากภาคดั้งเดิมในปี 1997 คือ กราฟิกที่ดูนุ่มนวลสบายตา สีแนวโทน Pastel

ส่วนเอกลักษณ์ของการพากย์ของเหล่าประชาสัมพันธ์จอมกวนยังคงอยู่แบบเดิมทุกประการ จะประกาศเรียกหมอหรือพยาบาลให้ไปประจำห้องตรวจ หรือ บางทีก็แซวไม่ก็ประจานคนไข้! UI ต่างๆ ยังคงมีความคล้ายต้นฉบับในแบบที่ปรับปรุงให้ดูสบายตาขึ้น ไม่รกรุงรัง เรียกได้ว่าทำออกมาไม่เสียชื่อบารมีเกมเดิมเลยทีเดียว

การเล่นจะแบ่งเป็นด่านเช่นเดิม โดยคุณสะสมดาวเพื่อปลดล็อคด่านใหม่ๆ ใน Map ซึ่งจะมีเนื้อเรื่องพอประมาณ เช่น ไปยังเขตหนาว ไปยังโซนคนรวย หรือไปยังเขตโรงงานที่มีไฟฟ้าลั่วไหล โดยแต่ละด่านจะเกี่ยวข้องกับโรคที่รักษา
